Ayubowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka! Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. Beyondary’s Sri Lanka Classic cycle tour begins in the coastal town of Negombo. On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport you will be met and transferred to our beachside hotel.
Negombo is a multi-faith town with a majority population of Roman Catholics, as well as Buddhists, Hindus and Muslims. It is sometimes referred to as ‘little Rome’, with over 20 Catholic churches featuring ornate architecture that date from the Portuguese era.
Fishing is a key industry and there are bustling markets where you’ll see mats spread out with drying fish along the sandy beaches.

In the evening your driver will take you to Wilpattu national park for a half day safari. Wilpattu; Sri Lanka’s the largest National Park, occupying about a 1100km2 (425 sq mile) tract of shore line and jungle on the northwest coast, The Park, become an eco-tourism destination to rival Yala in the south, with huge expanses of forest and an array of rare mammal with over 250 species of birds. The Park is also a best place to sight Asian Elephant, Barking Deer, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Jackal, Asiatic Buffalo, Crocodiles in addition to Leopards & sloth Bears. Keep your eyes peeled. Those Deer, wild boars, sloth bears, and leopards are masters of illusion.

Mannar island is the closest point in Sri Lanka to India where the countries were once connected centuries
ago by a series of small sandy islands known as Adam’s Bridge. Also take time to visit the ruins of Mannar fort
which was built by the Portuguese. Mannar Island at times has had a tumultuous history, but now a place
of peace and unity.

On completion you can head to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

The Highlight here would be the flocks of greater flamingos that you may see. After breakfast at hotel, visit to Sigiriya and start climbing world famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress, built in the
5c by king kashyapa. Take the opportunity to climb to the top of this striking rock with its vertical walls
supporting the remnants of an ancient city. Along the way, you will see the Fountain Gardens, boulder Gardens, the Mirror Wall, frescoes of the ladies of the king’s harem, Lion’s Staircase, and finally Sky-Palace for spectacular panoramic views.

Continuing on to the matale spice garden, you ‘ll get a chance to join a tour to learn more about the use of spices in day-to-day life, before completing the journey to Kandy.

On arrival in Kandy, check in at your hotel before visiting the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a complex said to hold the tooth of the Lord Buddha himself. This evening enjoys a Kandyan Dance performance; the traditional Sri Lankan dance which flourished in the hill country during ancient times. The dancers, who are attired in frilled costumes with glistening head-dresses and breastplates, skip and whirl to the beat of drums executing astonishing acrobatics in mid-air; the highlight is the fire walking at the end of the performance.

Starting of another glamorous day, After Breakfast transfer to Koslanda.

Koslanda is a small village situated in the perfect position for exploring the hill country and the southern of Sri Lanka where you can relax, recharge and reconnect with a way of life understood by sri Lankans throughout the ages.
